A major challenge in this research was to develop a system that was both technically feasible from a speech recognition standpoint and pedagogically viable. More specifically, we have devised the novel methods for the design and implementation of an effective rhythm training system: i.e., a measurement method and rhythm pattern templates. Under these concepts, the system was designed to train the learners in more effective way.
